Shop Mechanic - Full Time
Monday - Friday

Requirements:
- Must have knowledge and experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, heavy equipment, welding & fabrication
- CDL – preferred but not required
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be able to multitask
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner
- The desired employee will take pride and ownership of what needs to be done, their work, and keeping the shop clean and organized as if it were their own
Duties:
- Perform repairs and assign preventative maintenance services. Perform inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on fleet trucks, company trucks, and all equipment.
- Ability to keep an up-to-date log book and track all maintenance dates, due dates, and services.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment.
- Raise trucks and heavy parts, or equipment, using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
- Recondition and replace parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and determine a plan of action to remedy them.
- Install equipment and related components to meet specifications.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
